The idea behind workr comes from all the people I know who are aged around 50 and over and who are working...working in a job, working in their own businesses or working on projects which may or may not be businesses. It’s the ingredients of this idea that are our building blocks, our dna.
The plan is for workr.co to be a place where this world of workers can gather…a place which like them, is dynamic, interesting and useful.
But first things first.
Having an idea is one thing, but ideas only come to life when they're shared.
The first step therefore is to share what we’re doing and to start building a community which has at its core, a commitment to supporting everyone aged around 50 and over who is working or who wants to work.
Importantly, our community gladly welcomes absolutely everyone plus anyone who is interested in being part of what we’re trying to achieve.
I’m looking forward to seeing where this road goes to. But most of all, I’m really looking forward to all the people we’ll be meeting on the way and to the contributions they’ll be making.
