This is timely - I was made redundant a few years ago and after the initial novelty (and the payout) had worn off I was keen to start work again but found that I was too old! I'm 58! I still have a lot to offer and am not ready to 'go out to pasture'!! I look forward to seeing what jobs you'll be posting - when do expect to have some up on your jobs page? please adivse, thanks

Yea I agree, should not be too old for anything at 58 except maybe Lego. I have started again many times and find that it's a great opportunity to look for other things I may like or be good at, so can be a blessing in disguise.
Hi Robert First of all, welcome to the workr community! We're expecting to start having jobs up on the site in the next couple of weeks...so watch this space. Meanwhile, a really important focus for us is our community, which of course you're now a part of. This being the case, please feel free to share your job searching experiences...the good , the bad and the ugly. Looking for a job as an older worker can have all sorts of challenges, ageism clearly being one of the biggest. Sharing stories can often help others understand they're not alone...which brings us back to why workr is here and why we're excited about what we can all do to support each other as a community.
